Excel Workbook Sharing

In this Article you will learn how to assist a user in sharing an Excel Workbook to multiple members of their team, and how they can all collaborate on the workbook in real time.

1. Have the user open the workbook they are attempting to share, and have them click the "File" button in the top ribbon.
2. Then direct the user to the Share button on the left side of the screen.
 Once they have done this, it'll kick them back out to a page showing this pop up window.

4. Make sure they click on the tab saying "People in LodgeWorks with the link can view" and check the box that says "Can Edit". This box is not checked by default.

5. Have the user enter in the email addresses of the people they would like to share the workbook with and have them press send. Recipients will receive an email that looks like this.
6. Have the recipient press the open button in the email and the Excel Workbook will open up in Office 365 in a web browser. After they have opened it in the web browser at least once it will appear in their recent items in the startup screen of the Excel application.
